ABOUT
Samantha de Maryela is a Mexican-American multidisciplinary artist and curator with a practice spanning sculpture, film, installation, and painting. She weaves together enigmatic narratives, drawing inspiration from mythology, ecology, and the vestiges of ancient and future civilizations. Her work is umbilically connected to themes of female desire, sensuality, and spirit. Samantha De Maryela received her BA in Studio Arts from Bard College in 2023. She currently lives and works in New York City.
